Absolutely fabulous wide arm, low profile sofa, chair and coffee table set made by Craft Furniture Inc out of Nashville, TN in the mid 1960's. This is such a groovy set!! The sofa over 8ft long and is a convertible, in that it lays flat. There is also storage in both arms of the sofa as well as the coffee table. They all match with tufted seams and the original black Naugahyde fabric. We have fully restored the set and added new underfabric. The set is in overall very good condition with minor imperfections as expected with age/use. The sofa has some decorative stitching that has come out of the seat (see example pic), they are not holes as the under stitching is strong and intact, it is just the decorative tufting stitches that have come loose over the years. The back of the chair has a scuff and there has been a repair to the corner edge of one of the chair's wood arm platforms (see pics of both). These are actually pretty minor imperfections. Considering the age of the set, it is in fantastic condition! As for the feel of the sit....they are both spring supported as all Mid Century furniture was. The sofa feels exactly like sitting on the bucket seat in an old Ford truck. The chair has a foam cushion on top of the spring support and it sits medium firm. Both are comfortable and very low profile. If you are looking for a groovy set to compliment your man cave or Mid Century home - this is it!!
