Gorgeous, heavy, well built chrome lounge chair and ottoman by Design Environment, a firm started by Chris Coggin in the mid 1970's with the help of his father Thayer Coggin. Newly reupholstered in a gorgeous and incredibly soft tan/light brown crushed velvet. This chair lounges and has 2 adjustments - one for setting the lounge tilt and one for resistance of the tilt. Chair is in excellent working order, the chrome shines like new with only very minor marks typical of age. One of the leg stems on the chair is missing the end cap (see pic), otherwise this is a like a brand new chair! New foam as well that is extremely comfortable! This is not the typical light weight chrome chairs being made today, this is a solid, heavy and stunning Mid Century set!
