Gorgeous Mid Century bentwood lounge chair known as the "Mr Chair" designed by George Mulhauser in the early 1960's. Low profile chair that reclines and swivels. This one is all original with the original soft Naugahyde, ottoman and headrest. (We took photos of the chair with and without the headrest). Features bentwood frame with classic flared arms, a tapered back with split cushion and 5 arm metal base. The cushions do not remove. It is in excellent condition for it's age with only minor marks. The most wear can be seen on the metal base and one leg has some raised veneer (see pic). The Naugahyde fabric is in very good condition with no major imperfections. The fabric color is black with some green. The camera would not pickup the green and it cannot really be seen inside, but in bright sun you can see green areas in the fabric.
This is a gorgeous all original Mid Century designer piece!
