This is a gorgeous Mid Century coffee table designed by Stewart MacDougall and Kipp Stewart for the Declaration line of Drexel in the late 1950's. Low profile and beautiful bookmatched graining inside and out! One side features 2 small drawers on the right side with a hatch that lifts up on the left. Inside the hatch is a large cubby area and a sliding open drawer. The other side of the table reveals 3 divided open cubby areas. This is a very heavy and well made piece with solid wood construction and dovetailed drawers. It is in fabulous condition for its age, a few minor marks as expected from use and one corner has a couple small chips - see pic. This is a large and stunning piece in person!
