Beautiful grandfather clock designed by George Nelson for Howard Miller in the 1960's, model 620-807. Danish Modern style walnut cabinet framed in polished chrome with burlwood accent at the bottom. The clock has a Westminster 150 chime with weight-driven movement. The chimes have a rich, full sound that you can't find in newer, modern clocks. The chimes can be turned off if desired by a switch on the face. This comes with the original Howard Miller manual and is in perfect condition with only one light scratch on the glass that you can only see when the light hits it right (the camera would not pick it up). This is a gorgeous clock, keeps perfect time, and is a great example of Mid Century design.
** We will have the clock professionally packed for shipment, however we highly recommend having a clock professional come to your home and set it up once delivered, unless you feel comfortable attaching the weights, pendulum and making sure it is completely level for the weight driven system. We did this once we got it into inventory and the cost was less than $100 for someone to come to our location**
