Stunning and rare Mid Century table attributed to designer Bertha Schaefer. The Italian Travertine Marble is cradled inside the curved walnut base giving a floating appearance. Extremely well constructed and solid table with mortise and tenon joints. In excellent vintage condition - with a few dark spots in the wood typical of age. There is an extremely light circle mark in the top shelf wood (see pic) - it is barely noticeable but wanted to note it. This is a beautiful Mid Century table!
