This is a fabulous bar or serving cart by American of Martinsville from the early 1960's. Features walnut construction, 2 drawers on the front with Danish style sculpted handles, finished back side, and heavy brass castors. The top has black laminate or Formica which is easily cleaned. The top slides apart for a longer serving area with rounded, Danish style handles on each end of the top to easily expand it. This is in very good condition for it's age and has been thru our 5 step restoration process without sanding/staining. There are marks typical of age/use which include bottle ring marks on the bottom shelf as well as some dark stains on the drawer (see pic). Drawers and top slide with no issues and castors roll smoothly. This is a well made, beautiful and rare piece to find! Makers mark is inside the drawer.
