Extremely rare AUTHENTIC King size platform bed from the late 1960's. Low profile design with attached nightstands and two large storage areas. The nightstands have 2 drawers each with solid brass hardware. The finish is an off-white gloss enamel. We have this priced lower than retail because there are a few imperfections, however it is in very good condition for it's age! There are a couple minor marks in the finish as expected from use. The platform base has a handful of chips (see pic) however you cannot see them with the mattress on or unless you are laying on the floor looking for them. The left nightstand did have some moisture on it at some point in its life which made the wood swell. We have circled this in the photo. Other than that, this bed is in great shape to be 50+ years old. It is extremely heavy! It breaks down into 7 pieces for easier transport. We would guess the entire weight of the bed once put together is around 500-550lbs. You will not find this bed again. It is extremely rare and came out of a high-end Mid Century estate.
