Stunning original Art Deco chandelier from the 1930's by Markel. 5 very thick glass slip shades sit on a cast iron base. Classic and beautiful Art Deco design on both the base and shades. This has a 3 way switch which is activated by the brass finial attached to the bottom. Turn it once for 2 lights on, another for 3 lights, and a 3rd time for all lights on. We have completely taken this chandelier apart and rewired any areas that were not insulated. The sockets and 3 way switch are original, in excellent condition and work with no issues. One shade does have a chip on the top (see pic), another has a crack (see pic). The crack you cannot feel on either side, so it is not thru the glass and is not fragile. Neither imperfection takes away from the look. These lights sell for well over $1K when you can find them. This is a gorgeous piece of Art Deco history!
*Bulbs are not included. These are standard size sockets, so any regular bulb will work. As with any vintage/antique light, they were not made for high wattage bulbs. Never use higher than 60W.
