Stunning set of French Art Deco dining chairs from the 1940's! Features tapered angled legs with solid metal decorative feet on the front. Brass ball accents on the sides, high back design with double piping in classic Art Deco style. These are the heaviest dining chairs we have ever had in inventory!! They are solid wood in every way. Marked "Montage Brevete S.G.D.G. Modele Depose". The fabric is original and is a heavy vinyl type material in muted yellow with black piping. These are not in perfect condition as they are 70+ years old and all original. The fabric has marks/small tears/dents (see pics) and a couple of the legs have oxygenation within the clear coat finish (see pic). The wood has a heavy clear coat on it. However these are in fantastic condition for their age! You can use them easily as-is or get them reupholstered, either way they are fabulous and I doubt you would ever come across chairs like these again. If you love Art Deco style, this is it!
